Udinese stunned Serie A title contenders Juventus with a 1-0 victory at the Allianz Stadium, securing their third win of the season and ending their eight-game away losing streak.

Juventus, coming off two winless matches, desperately needed a positive response. They started strong, with Chiesa and Weah creating early chances. But Udinese defied the odds, taking the lead against the run of play in the 25th minute through a Lautaro Giannetti header.

Despite Juve’s dominance after the goal, Maduka Okoye stood firm in the Udinese goal, denying Milik a header on the brink of halftime.

The second half saw a similar story unfold, with Juventus controlling possession but lacking creativity in the final third, especially with Vlahović injured. Milik thought he had equalized with a header, but it was disallowed for a narrow offside.

Frustration grew amongst the home fans as Juve struggled to find a breakthrough. Though substitute Yıldız nearly connected with a dangerous cross, Udinese held firm to secure a vital three points that moved them three points clear of the relegation zone.

Juventus, meanwhile, will be looking to bounce back against Hellas Verona after losing further ground in the title race to Inter Milan.
