Atalanta continued their red-hot form with a thrilling 4-1 victory over Genoa, extending their winning streak to seven games in all competitions.

The Bergamascans started strong, with Charles De Ketelaere stealing the show in the first half. The on-loan Belgian midfielder netted a stunning volley from outside the box, his ninth goal of the season, putting Atalanta in control.

However, Genoa stormed back after the break. Ruslan Malinovskyi, a former Atalanta favorite, equalized with a powerful shot from distance, sending the home crowd into a frenzy. But the joy was short-lived as Teun Koopmeiners curled in a magnificent free-kick to restore Atalanta’s lead.

Atalanta thought they had sealed the win when Giorgio Scalvini bundled home from close range, but VAR intervened to disallow the goal for offside. Yet, the visitors refused to be denied. Davide Zappacosta and El Bilal Touré scored late goals in stoppage time to put the game beyond doubt.
