Kylian Mbappé’s future is in doubt after reports emerged that he is unhappy with the salary offer from Real Madrid.
The French forward has been widely expected to join Real Madrid on a free transfer when his contract with Paris Saint-Germain expires at the end of the season.
However, according to French journalist François David, Mbappé is not willing to accept a salary that is lower than what Jude Bellingham or Vinicius Junior are earning at Real Madrid.
PSG are reportedly offering Mbappé a salary of €80 million per year, which is significantly more than what Real Madrid are currently offering.

Mbappé is also said to be keen to have 100% of his image rights, which is something that Florentino Pérez is not willing to give him.
As a result of these disagreements, there is a growing possibility that Mbappé could stay at PSG.
The Parisians are willing to offer him a two-year contract with a salary of €80 million per year, which would make him the highest-paid player in the world.
Real Madrid still have time to improve their offer to Mbappé, but they will need to be willing to meet his demands if they want to sign him.
The saga is likely to continue for a few more weeks, but it is clear that Mbappé is in a strong position to negotiate the best possible deal for himself.
