Alphonso Davies to Real Madrid: The plot thickens

Real Madrid’s pursuit of Alphonso Davies has taken a significant step forward, with reports from England suggesting that the player has turned down a move to Manchester City in favor of the Spanish giants.

The 23-year-old Canadian left-back is considered one of the best in the world in his position, and his contract with Bayern Munich expires in 2025. Real Madrid have been tracking Davies for some time, and Florentino Pérez himself is reportedly driving the move.

According to sources in England, Manchester City were also interested in Davies, but it is believed that the player prefers a move to the Spanish capital. Real Madrid are optimistic that they can sign Davies if he does not renew his contract with Bayern Munich.

Jude Bellingham follows Davies on social media

In a further sign that Davies is close to joining Real Madrid, Jude Bellingham, another player who has been linked with the club, recently started following Davies on social media.

Vinicius Junior, who would be Davies’ teammate at Real Madrid, has also been making positive comments on his Instagram posts. It seems that the Real Madrid dressing room is already excited about the prospect of signing Davies.
