PSG: Initial Verdict for Kylian Mbappé

Kylian Mbappé escaped serious injury, according to France Bleu Paris, following the first round of tests conducted on Thursday after the tackle he received on his left ankle from Brest’s Lilian Brassier in the Coupe de France. Further tests will be carried out in the coming hours to monitor the evolution of his pain.

With the first leg of the Champions League round of 16 against Real Sociedad just a week away, there was cause for concern given the severity of the twist to his ankle and the intensity of the defender’s challenge. The Parisian striker took no risks today, remaining in the gym and his participation in the match against LOSC this weekend in the league remains uncertain.

The PSG medical staff will be closely monitoring his condition in the coming days and will make a decision on his participation in the match against Lille based on his progress.
