Sevilla are still on the lookout for a striker despite rejecting an offer for Rafa Mir from Valencia. The Spanish club could make moves in the next transfer market, with the board of directors continuing to search for potential signings to strengthen the squad.
One of the names that has entered Sevilla’s radar is Yuri Alberto, who currently plays for Corinthians. According to todofichajes, the Andalusian club is closely following the young striker’s performance and could consider making an offer for the Brazilian in the summer market.
However, Sevilla are not the only club interested in Yuri Alberto. Wolverhampton Wanderers of the Premier League and Atlético Mineiro have also been attracted to the 22-year-old. Yuri came up through the ranks at Santos and made the jump to Europe when he joined Porto Alegre in 2020, before a brief spell at Zenit Saint Petersburg, where he showed promise but failed to establish himself.
At his current club Corinthians, the striker has scored 27 goals and provided 11 assists in 85 appearances. These numbers have once again caught the attention of European teams.
