Mbappé to Real Madrid: “It’s done this time,” says PSG ambassador

Laure Boulleau, a former French international and current ambassador for Paris Saint-Germain, has confirmed that Kylian Mbappé will join Real Madrid next season.

“We have the impression that we have already lived this soap opera,” Boulleau told Canal +. “In 2022, I didn’t have much information about it, but now, for the first time, fairly reliable sources are telling me that it’s done. I would be happy for him if it happened.

“However, I understand his position and why he can’t announce it yet,” added the former left-back. “Every time he wants to do it, but you have to put yourself in his shoes: he still has goals with PSG and I think he loves his club, he has great respect. Let’s wait for his decision.”

Although she left her role as coordinator of the PSG women’s team in 2020, Boulleau remains close to PSG and works for the club’s media.

On Friday, Le Parisien confirmed Mbappé’s decision, although the Parisian club has not yet been informed by the player. For its part, Real Madrid is waiting for the announcement: as soon as it is known that the former Monaco player will not renew his contract, the Madrid club will try to complete the deal quickly.
