Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano has dropped another bomb on the Kylian Mbappe saga, reporting that Real Madrid are “keep[ing] advancing” on a deal to bring the French superstar to the Bernabeu.
While nothing’s official yet, and Mbappe is expected to announce his decision soon, things seem to be leaning heavily towards Madrid. Notably, Paris Saint-Germain haven’t even been informed of his choice, suggesting a switch is likely.
Recent reports claimed Mbappe had already picked Madrid, and PSG seem resigned to losing the battle for their 25-year-old gem. The official announcement is expected later in February.
One thing’s for sure: Mbappe won’t be costing Madrid a transfer fee as he’ll join as a free agent. However, prepare yourselves for an eye-watering signing bonus to welcome the prolific forward.
Just to put his talent in perspective, Mbappe has already bagged 29 goals and 7 assists in just 28 appearances for PSG this season. Talk about a signing!
