AC Milan is in talks with Arsenal for Jakub Kiwior

AC Milan is looking to strengthen its defense in the January transfer window, and it has set its sights on Jakub Kiwior, a talented Polish defender who has seen limited playing time at Arsenal this season.

Kiwior, 23, has struggled to find regular playing time in the Premier League since joining Arsenal in 2023. However, he has been a mainstay in the Polish national team, making 19 appearances since his debut in May 2022.

According to reports from Calciomercato, AC Milan and Arsenal are in talks to secure the signing of Kiwior. Arsenal is reportedly open to a loan deal with an option to buy, while Milan is looking for a temporary deal with the option to make the transfer permanent.

Milan’s interest in Kiwior is heightened by the injuries that have hit its defense this season. With pressure on manager Stefano Pioli to strengthen the team, Kiwior’s future could be at the center of a deal that could shake up the Serie A balance of power.

In the meantime, Kiwior waits on the bench at Arsenal, watching the progress of the negotiations as his team prepares to face Nottingham Forest in a crucial match of the season.
