French midfielder to miss Saturday’s Serie A match.
Juventus will be without Adrien Rabiot for their Serie A clash with Empoli on Saturday, coach Massimiliano Allegri confirmed on Friday.
The 28-year-old has been struggling with a calf strain and missed last weekend’s 3-0 win over Lecce.
Rabiot has made 19 appearances for Juve in Serie A this season, scoring three goals.
Chiesa still sidelined
Allegri will also be without Federico Chiesa, who is still recovering from a knee injury.
Chiesa has missed five matches this season due to the injury, including the Coppa Italia win over Frosinone.
Allegri played down the importance of the upcoming clash with Inter, who are one point behind Juve in the title race.
“We need to focus on ourselves,” he said. “Inter are the favourites, but we’re not going to give up without a fight.”
