Kylian Mbappé’s future is up in the air, and Saudi Arabia is watching closely

The future of Kylian Mbappé is one of the most talked-about topics in world football right now. The Paris Saint-Germain star’s contract expires at the end of the season, and he is free to sign with any club he chooses.

So far, the two main contenders for Mbappé’s signature are Real Madrid and Liverpool. The Spanish giants have been pursuing him for years, while the English club is looking to add a world-class striker to its roster.

But there’s a new player in the mix: Saudi Arabia. The Saudi Pro League is known for its deep pockets, and it has already made a splash in the transfer market by signing Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema.

In an interview with the media outlet Carré, Prince Abdullah Saad Abdulaziz Al Saud, a member of the Saudi royal family, made it clear that the country is interested in Mbappé.

“Of course, we love him,” the prince said. “Kylian Mbappé is a good player, he’s strong, and I hope to see him play in Saudi Arabia, in any team in our league. Saudi Arabia is now the monster of the market. We have Cristiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema… We have a strong league and we will surprise again. More stars will come. Saudi Arabia is aiming to become the number one football nation. Soon.”

It’s unclear if Mbappé would be interested in a move to Saudi Arabia. The country is not a traditional football powerhouse, and the league is not as competitive as the top leagues in Europe.

However, the Saudis are clearly willing to spend big money to attract top talent. And with Mbappé’s contract expiring, anything is possible.
