Goretzka: “I’m not leaving Bayern”

German midfielder Leon Goretzka has denied reports that he is considering a move away from Bayern Munich.

Goretzka has been linked with a move to the Premier League in recent months, but he has insisted that he is committed to the Bavarian giants.

“I believe that rumors are part of football,” Goretzka said after Bayern’s 1-0 win over Union Berlin on Wednesday. “But a move is not an option for me. I’m not even thinking about it.”

Goretzka has been in and out of the Bayern starting lineup this season, but he has made it clear that he is not unhappy with his situation.

“I’m not going to complain about my situation,” he said. “I’m going to keep working hard and fighting for my place in the team.”

Goretzka’s comments are likely to be welcomed by Bayern fans, who are keen to see the 28-year-old stay at the club.
