Alphonso Davies could stay with Bayern Munich until 2028

Alphonso Davies, 23, has just over 18 months left on his contract at Bayern Munich, and his name has been popping up in transfer rumors more and more.

However, Bayern have no intention of selling their left-back, who remains a key player for the team (25 appearances in all competitions, 22 starts).

In fact, according to transfer expert Ekrem Konur, a contract extension is expected to be offered to the Canadian international (44 caps, 15 goals) soon.

If he accepts, he could be tied to the Bavarian club until June 2028.

Alphonso Davies is one of the most exciting young players in world football. The 23-year-old Canadian international has been a key player for Bayern Munich since joining the club from Vancouver Whitecaps in 2019.

Davies is a versatile player who can play as a left-back, winger, or even as a central midfielder. He is known for his speed, dribbling skills, and attacking prowess.

In his first three seasons at Bayern, Davies has won three Bundesliga titles, two DFB-Pokals, and a Champions League title. He has also been named to the Bundesliga Team of the Year twice.

Davies’ contract with Bayern expires in June 2024, but there is a strong possibility that he could stay with the club for much longer. Bayern are reportedly planning to offer Davies a new contract that would keep him in Munich until 2028.

There are several reasons why Bayern would be keen to keep Davies. He is a world-class player who is still just entering his prime. He is also a popular figure among the Bayern fan base.

Davies has also expressed his desire to stay with Bayern. He has said that he loves playing for the club and that he wants to win more trophies with them.

Of course, there is always the possibility that Davies could leave Bayern if he receives a lucrative offer from another club. However, for now, it seems likely that he will be a Bayern Munich player for many years to come.
