Atalanta locks down Matteo Ruggeri

Atalanta Bergamo have announced that they have reached an agreement with young midfielder Matteo Ruggeri to extend his contract until June 2028.

Ruggeri, 21, had been linked with a move to Napoli and Juventus, but he has opted to stay with the Bergamo club. The Italy Under-21 international has been a key player for Atalanta this season, making 24 appearances in all competitions and scoring one goal and providing five assists.

Ruggeri’s new deal is worth €800,000 per year, with the potential for bonuses. He is a talented young player who has the potential to become a star in the future.
