Brentford striker Ivan Toney has hinted that he could be open to a move to a Premier League giant this January.
The 27-year-old, who scored 21 goals in 35 games for Brentford last season, has been linked with both Arsenal and Chelsea in recent weeks.
Toney has been out of action since the start of the season due to an eight-month ban for betting breaches, but he is now back in contention.

“If a club was to pay the right money… then, who knows. January or whenever is right time, I’ll be ready”.

In an interview with Sky Sports, Toney said that he would be interested in playing for a top club.
“Of course, I want to play for a top club and fight for trophies,” he said. “If a club were to pay the right money… then, who knows? In January or whenever the time is right, I’ll be ready.”
Toney’s comments will give Arsenal and Chelsea hope that they could land him in the January transfer window.
However, Brentford will be determined to keep hold of their star striker, who has been a key player for them since joining from Peterborough United in 2021.
