According to Sky Sports, Bayern Munich are close to signing Nordi Mukiele from Paris Saint-Germain. All parties involved are optimistic that the deal will be completed.
Mukiele is Bayern’s top target for the right-back position. He would provide much-needed depth to the Bayern defense, which has been hit by injuries in recent weeks. Bayern is looking to sign Mukiele on loan with an option to buy.
Sky Sports reports that Bayern sporting director Christoph Freund is hoping to finalize the deal this week. He wants to integrate Mukiele into the Bayern defense as soon as possible.
Bayern is confident that the deal will be completed. The club has already reached a verbal agreement with Mukiele, and the player has expressed his desire to join Bayern.
PSG is also optimistic about reaching an agreement with Bayern. The French club signed Mukiele from RB Leipzig in 2022 for €12 million. However, he has seen limited playing time at PSG, and the club is willing to let him go on loan.
If the deal is completed, Mukiele would be Bayern’s third signing of the winter transfer window. The club has already signed Noussair Mazraoui from Ajax and Ryan Gravenberch from Ajax.
