Arsenal is still on the lookout for a striker to bolster its attacking ranks. After making an offer of €25 million for Borja Mayoral, the Gunners are now turning their attention to Bologna striker Joshua Zirkzee.
The 22-year-old Dutchman has had a good season in Serie A, scoring seven goals in 19 appearances. He notably scored a key goal against Inter Milan on February 26.
Arsenal is impressed with Zirkzee’s profile, which is a powerful and skillful striker. He could provide an interesting attacking option for the Gunners, who need more depth in that area.
Zirkzee’s release clause is set at €40 million. Arsenal could therefore try to negotiate a transfer below that figure.
