Man of the Match: Milik (8.5)
Milik was in fine form tonight, opening the scoring with a coolly-taken penalty before adding two more goals to seal the win for Juventus. He was always in the right place at the right time and showed great composure in front of goal.
Juventus (3-5-2)
Perin (6): A quiet night for the Italian goalkeeper, who was hardly called into action.
Gatti (6): Solid defensively, he kept Frosinone’s attackers at bay.
Bremer (7): Another impressive performance from the Brazilian, who was a constant threat at the back.
Danilo (6): A solid performance from the Portuguese defender.
Weah (5.5): Still looks a bit off the pace, but he did show some positive signs.
McKennie (7.5): A tireless display from the American, who was a constant menace in midfield.
Locatelli (7.5): A dominant performance from the Italian midfielder, who won plenty of balls back and set up Milik’s second goal.
Miretti (5.5): A decent performance from the young Italian, but he still needs to be more decisive in the final third.
Kostic (5.5): A solid performance from the Serbian, but he didn’t create much in the final third.
Milik (8.5): See above.
Yildiz (7): A bright second-half performance from the Turkish youngster, who scored a superb goal and created several chances.
Frosinone (3-4-2-1)
Cerofolini (4): Not always at fault, but made some costly errors.
Okoli (4.5): Struggled to contain Milik, who scored twice past him.
Romagnoli (5): The best of a bad bunch at the back for Frosinone.
Lusuardi (4.5): Couldn’t do much to stop Juventus from running riot.
Garritano (4.5): Completely lost in midfield, as Juventus dominated possession.
Brescianini (5.5): One of Frosinone’s better players, but his efforts were in vain.
Mazzitelli (5.5): Gave everything he had, but it wasn’t enough to prevent a heavy defeat.
Lirola (4): A very poor performance from the Italian, who was completely anonymous.
Harroui (4.5): A little better than his teammates in attack, but still couldn’t create much.
Ibrahimovic (4): A few half-chances, but nothing came of them.
Kaio Jorge (4): Couldn’t get into the game at all.
Overall, Juventus were far too good for Frosinone and deservedly won by a comfortable margin. Milik was the star of the show, scoring a hat-trick to seal the victory.
