Olympique Marseille eyes Josh Doig

Marseille is on the hunt for a left-back, and Josh Doig is on their radar, according to La Provence.

Pablo Longoria is always a busy man at the transfer window, and he’s already pulled off a few coups this winter. He brought in Jean Onana from Ajax, and now he’s looking to add a left-back to the mix.

Renan Lodi has been a bit of a disappointment since he arrived in the summer, so Longoria is looking for someone to challenge him for the spot.

Josh Doig, 21, is a Scottish international who plays for Hellas Verona. He’s impressed this season, making 13 appearances, including 11 starts.

Olympique de Marseille is hoping to sign Doig on loan, but Torino is also interested. The Italian club has been working on this deal for a year, but Marseille has made a late push.

Can Longoria pull off another coup? Stay tuned.
