Naples are reportedly interested in signing Swedish prodigy Lucas Bergvall during the January transfer window.
The Serie A side are looking to strengthen their squad during the winter window, and according to TMW, they have opened talks with Djurgardens over the signing of Bergvall.
The 17-year-old midfielder is currently contracted to Djurgardens until December 2025. He is considered to be one of the most promising young talents in Sweden, and he is also being monitored by Manchester United and Barcelona.
This season, Bergvall has scored three goals and provided one assist in 28 appearances in all competitions. He is a versatile midfielder who can play in a variety of positions.
It remains to be seen whether Napoli will be able to agree a deal with Djurgardens for Bergvall. The Swedish club are likely to demand a significant fee for the teenager.
However, Napoli are confident that they can convince Bergvall to join them. The club are offering him the opportunity to play in one of the top leagues in Europe.
If Napoli are successful in their pursuit of Bergvall, it would be a major coup for the club. He is a player with a lot of potential, and he could become a key player for them in the future.
