Rivals in the race for the Serie A title, Juventus and Inter Milan have also sparked an Italian Derby on the transfer market. The Nerazzurri had the arrival of Tiago Djaló from LOSC Lille as a free agent in the works, but the Old Lady has moved ahead in recent hours.
Awaiting confirmation of Dean Huijsen’s departure to Roma on loan, Juventus is willing to pay €3m to the French club to accelerate Djaló’s arrival, who does not see the idea of changing teams during the season in a bad light, according to Santi Aouna from FootMercato. An economic effort with which the Turinese intend to make a difference compared to Inter Milan.

Djaló is a 22-year-old versatile defensive midfielder who made his professional debut with Sporting Portugal in 2019. He then joined LOSC Lille in 2021, where he has played 69 matches in all competitions, scoring two goals and providing three assists.
The Portuguese is a powerful and physical player who is also capable of playing in central defense. He would be a good option for Juventus, who are looking to strengthen their defensive midfield.
If Juventus is able to complete this transfer, it would be a blow to Inter Milan, which had already lost Stefan de Vrij on a free transfer. The Nerazzurri will need to find another central defender to replace the Dutchman.
