Carlo Ancelotti’s decision to stay at Real Madrid: the key reason

Italian coach Carlo Ancelotti has just renewed his contract with Real Madrid until the summer of 2026.

There was much speculation about his possible departure from Real Madrid, as his contract was due to expire this summer of 2024, and just before the end of this year 2023, the club made his renewal official, extending his contract for two more seasons.

Carlo Ancelotti’s reasons for renewing with Real Madrid

Carlo Ancelotti revealed the reasons for his renewal in an interview on Real Madrid Television.

The first thing the Italian coach said was the following: “I have renewed because the team has been successful in recent years and this year is also having it.”

We have always said that Carlo Ancelotti, one of the many good things he has, is that he has a very good left hand and that, since the Italian has been at Real Madrid, the dressing room has a very healthy atmosphere.

This is what Ancelotti said about all this: “The club sees that there is a good atmosphere between us and this is very important, because without a good relationship between the coach and the players, the club cannot be successful. Obviously, I thank the club for the renewal, but also to the players, who are showing an extraordinary attitude.”

“It’s very familiar”

But the main reason is this: Carletto also highlighted that Real Madrid is like a big family and this is also one of the main reasons why he has decided to renew for two more seasons with Real Madrid: “The atmosphere that this club generates around it is very familiar, starting with the president. Each of us brings out the best because we work in a family environment.”

For all these reasons, Carlo Ancelotti will continue to be the coach of Real Madrid for at least until the year 2026.
