Bayern Munich are looking to bolster their defensive options in January, and Thilo Kehrer is one of the players under consideration.
The German international is a versatile defender who can play at centre-back or right-back. He is also familiar with Thomas Tuchel, who was his manager at Paris Saint-Germain.
Kehrer is currently at West Ham United, but he is open to a move to Bayern. He would be available for a reasonable fee in January.
However, Bayern are not the only club interested in Kehrer. Eintracht Frankfurt, Sevilla, AC Milan, AS Roma, Stade Rennes, and OGC Nice are also said to be keen.
According to Fussballtransfers, Tuchel is expected to meet with Kehrer in the coming days to discuss his availability and his interest in a move to Bayern.
If Kehrer is not Tuchel’s first choice, the Bayern manager is also considering other options. Ronald Araújo, Takehiro Tomiyasu, Raphaël Varane, and Leny Yoro are all being linked with the club.
The winter transfer window opens on January 1, so Bayern will need to make a decision quickly if they want to sign Kehrer.
