Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema to face off in Saudi Arabia

Two former Real Madrid teammates will go head-to-head on Tuesday in the Saudi Pro League.

Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema arrived at Real Madrid within a week of each other in 2009. They spent the next nine years together, winning everything in the game, including four UEFA Champions League titles.

The summer of 2009 was a watershed moment in the club’s history, thanks in large part to these two signings. Kaka was also expected to be a success, but the Brazilian left in 2013 without living up to his potential.

The Portuguese and Frenchmen formed a formidable partnership, combining for countless goals and assists. They brought joy to the Santiago Bernabéu faithful and conquered important territories such as the Allianz Arena and the Camp Nou.

One of their most memorable goals came in Barcelona in 2015, when Benzema’s corner was headed in by Ronaldo to give Real Madrid a 1-0 lead in a 2-1 loss.

Both players excelled during their time together, but Benzema was often overshadowed by Ronaldo, who won five Ballon d’Or awards during his time with Los Blancos.

The match between Al-Ittihad and Al-Nassr will be a reunion between two old friends. Al-Ittihad is currently in sixth place in the Saudi Professional League, while Al-Nassr is in second place.

The match will be played on Tuesday, December 26, at 19:00 local time.

This match will be a special occasion for fans of both players. It will be a chance to see two of the greatest players of their generation go head-to-head once again.
