Nantes Re-Signs Moses Simon to Long-Term Deal

Nantes have secured the services of Moses Simon for the long term, signing the Nigerian winger to a new two-year contract that will keep him at the club until 2026.

Simon, 28, was a key player for Nantes last season, helping the club to qualify for the Europa Conference League with 10 goals and 14 assists in Ligue 1. He was also named in the Ligue 1 team of the season.

The player was courted by several clubs, including Lyon, but he ultimately chose to stay in Nantes.

“I am delighted to continue the adventure here and very happy to stay in Nantes!” Simon said. “I am ready to continue to fight to help the team reach the highest level possible. One thing is for sure, this contract extension is a real vote of confidence in the club and the team.”

Simon has been a key part of the Nantes team since joining the club from Levante in 2019. He has made over 130 appearances for the club, contributing to 20 goals in all competitions.

The re-signing of Simon is a major coup for Nantes. The player is a dynamic and creative winger who can make a difference on the pitch. He will be a valuable asset for the club in the years to come.

Simon’s decision to stay in Nantes is a sign of his commitment to the club and its project. He is a key part of the team’s plans to compete for European football in the years to come.
