Juventus Turin is looking to strengthen its defense in the January transfer window, and it has set its sights on Lille defender Tiago Djalo.
Djalo, 23, is a Portuguese center-back who joined Lille from AS Roma in 2020. He has quickly become a key player in the Lille defense, making 36 appearances in all competitions last season.
Despite a recent injury that has kept him out of action for several months, Djalo remains a highly rated player. Inter Milan and Barcelona were also interested in the player, but they would prefer to sign him on a free transfer in June.
Juventus, however, is ready to act now. The Italian club is reportedly willing to offer Lille around €2 million for Djalo.
