Sergiño Dest reflects on his difficult spell at AC Milan

After an unsuccessful loan spell at AC Milan (he started just two Serie A games), American Sergiño Dest is making the most of his loan at PSV. The 23-year-old right-back has already made 18 official appearances for the Eindhoven side. When asked about his difficult time in Lombardy, the player, who belongs to FC Barcelona, made it clear that he no longer has any ties to the Rossoneri.

“It was a tough year for Milan, although when I played, I wasn’t bad. It’s a step back now to take two steps forward, I’m happy to be at a great club like PSV and to be able to play. I’m not angry, I have nothing against coach Pioli. These things happen. I also have my flaws, which I assume, just like him. But those are things that stay inside. I’m not currently following Milan’s games. Milan is the past, I’m only focused on PSV,” he explained in statements to As.
