Jude Bellingham has quickly adapted to life at Real Madrid, and he has formed a close friendship with a fellow player in the squad.
It was a fast adaptation that few would have predicted. Arriving in the Spanish capital at the start of the summer, Bellingham did not take long to settle into his new surroundings. In fact, in his 18 appearances in all competitions, the 20-year-old England international has scored 16 goals, playing a key role in Real Madrid’s perfect start to the season, which sees them top of La Liga and their Champions League group.
And one man has been particularly instrumental in helping Bellingham to settle in so quickly in the dressing room at the Bernabéu.
Brahim Díaz has played the role of guide
According to the Spanish media outlet Relevo, the former Borussia Dortmund player, who was signed for over €100 million, has quickly struck up a friendship with Brahim Díaz. The Spaniard, who spent time at Manchester City early in his career, speaks excellent English and has acted as a translator for Bellingham within the squad, as well as showing him around the city’s most beautiful places.
Their similar paths, both having to leave their families to move to a foreign country to pursue their football careers at a young age, has bonded them, and they are now as close off the pitch as they are on it. This “bromance” is sure to be a source of delight for fans.
