Messi and Ronaldo to face off in Saudi Arabia

Two of the greatest football stars in the world, Lionel Messi of Argentina (36 years old) and Cristiano Ronaldo of Portugal (38), will meet again next February. The Inter Miami, Messi’s team, has confirmed that the two clubs will face off in an exhibition match on February 1.

Although both players are nearing the end of their careers, the match is sure to draw a large audience.

“We added a stop to our preseason international tour,” Inter Miami said in a statement. “We will play two matches in Saudi Arabia as part of the Riyadh Season Cup in our first international tour! In the tournament, we will face Saudi Arabian powers Al-Hilal SFC and Al Nassr FC on Monday, January 29 and Thursday, February 1.”

The match is part of the Riyadh Season Cup, a tournament that will also feature Al Hilal, the Saudi Arabian champions, and Al Nassr, the runners-up.

The match will be played at the King Fahd International Stadium in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
