Official: Real Madrid confirm Camavinga’s serious knee injury

Real Madrid have already published the official statement informing of the injury suffered by Eduardo Camavinga. The Real Madrid footballer will be out for between 6-8 weeks, so he will no longer play in what remains of 2023.

In the first few minutes after the knee sprain, Eduardo Camavinga thought it was just a scare and that it would be nothing serious. The same was believed by the French national team doctors after the first examination.

As the hours passed and after more tests were carried out, they realized that what the French midfielder had was more serious than expected. This made Real Madrid fear the worst, and now they have been able to confirm it.

Despite the bad news, the Real Madrid player’s muscular strength has meant that the player has not suffered an even more serious injury. The idea of the Merengue club is that by the end of January he will be fully recovered, but they will go slowly so as not to take any risks.

The Real Madrid footballer is sad, because he considers that right now he was in better shape than ever. In addition, he had earned an undisputed place as a starter in the team.

Official Statement:

“Following the tests carried out today on our player Eduardo Camavinga by the Real Madrid Medical Services, he has been diagnosed with a rupture of the external ligament in his right knee. Pending evolution”.
