Borussia Dortmund have entered the race to sign Real Betis left-back Juan Miranda, with the Bundesliga club willing to offer more money than AC Milan.
The 20-year-old has been linked with a move to San Siro for some time, but it appears the German side are now ready to rival the Rossoneri for his signature.
Miranda is out of contract at the end of the season and is keen to leave Betis in search of regular first-team football.
The Spanish club are open to selling him in January, but they are only willing to let him go for a fee in the region of €20 million.
Dortmund are prepared to meet that valuation, but they are also willing to offer Miranda a higher salary than Milan.
The German club are in need of a new left-back, with Marcel Schmelzer struggling with injuries this season.
Miranda is seen as a long-term replacement for Schmelzer, and he would be a good fit for Dortmund’s style of play.
It remains to be seen whether Dortmund will be able to convince Miranda to join them, but they are certainly making a strong push for his signature.
