Real Madrid are considering a move for three Bayer Leverkusen stars in the summer transfer window, according to Todofichajes.
The Spanish giants are looking to strengthen their squad ahead of the 2023-24 season and have identified the German club’s Florian Wirtz, Jeremie Frimpong and Victor Boniface as potential targets.
Wirtz is a highly-rated attacking midfielder who has been linked with a number of top clubs in recent months. The 19-year-old has scored 10 goals and provided 14 assists in 32 appearances for Leverkusen this season.
Frimpong is a versatile full-back who can play on either side of the defence. The 21-year-old has made 28 appearances for Leverkusen this season, scoring three goals and providing four assists.
Boniface is a young striker who has impressed with his goalscoring exploits in the Bundesliga this season. The 22-year-old has scored 12 goals in 31 appearances for Leverkusen this season.
Real Madrid are likely to face competition from a number of other clubs for the signatures of Wirtz, Frimpong and Boniface. However, the Spanish giants are confident that they can convince the players to join them.
If Real Madrid are able to sign all three players, it would be a major boost for their hopes of winning the Champions League next season.
Wirtz, Frimpong and Boniface are all talented young players who have the potential to become world-class stars. They would add quality and depth to Real Madrid’s squad and would help the club to compete for major trophies in the years to come.
