Barcelona close to making 7 million euros from Todibo transfer

Manchester United have valued defender Jean-Clair Todibo at 35 million euros, and the player is one of the targets of the new partner of the English team, Jim Ratcliffe, who intends to improve the club’s transfer policy. Barcelona owns 20% of the future sale of its former player, so it could receive 7 million euros.

The French centre-back has a contract with Nice until 2027, so if the ‘Red Devils’ want to sign him, they will have to pay up. Todibo’s signing has been on the table at Manchester United for months, so it could be an imminent signing for the club.

Barcelona needs to make money, and it has the option of receiving extra income from transfers in which it included a percentage of future sales. Todibo is one of the former Blaugrana players, under these contractual conditions, who could give the most money to the team from the Catalan city.

According to Transfermarkt, Todibo’s market value is 30 million euros, so the amount offered by United could be interesting for Nice. At 23 years old, the French centre-back is a very interesting player, who could give United good performance and money to Barcelona, which needs it at the moment.
