Mbappe breaks his silence and makes it official: what happened with Madrid in the summer

It is clear that something happened between Paris Saint-Germain and Kylian Mbappé in the summer of 2023. That is why he was excluded from the team and did not go on the Asian tour. After several months of silence, the French striker spoke briefly about what happened.

“What about last summer? The most important thing, what I wanted most, was to play football. The rest I leave to you. Well, I don’t feel like talking to feed other things. It’s been enough,” Mbappé revealed before quickly leaving, avoiding any other questions on the same topic.

The Paris Saint-Germain footballer does not want to talk much about the subject, because they were weeks in which he did not have a good time, and he even felt attacked by his club. In addition, seeing that Real Madrid recently issued a statement to deny any rumors, Mbappé did not want to add fuel to the fire.

He prefers to leave the past behind and focus on playing football. For the moment, he is still without renewing his contract and in January he will be free to negotiate and sign for Real Madrid, as long as he accepts the demands of the Merengue club and signs at the time that the Madrid entity considers.

Now or never

The Parisian star is aware that if he extends his contract with Paris Saint-Germain he would be saying goodbye forever to the possibility of playing for Real Madrid, making Haaland the main target of the Merengue club for the coming seasons.

At Real Madrid, they are very calm, because there is a great squad and they already have several reinforcements planned for next season. They believe that Mbappé needs them more than the club needs him. That is why they are sure that the player will be the one to contact in January.
