The Real Madrid is going to make it official this Thursday: Florentino signs him until 2028

All the attention at Real Madrid right now is on tonight’s match against SC Braga at the Santiago Bernabéu stadium, where the merengues will seek to secure their spot in the round of 16.

Carlo Ancelotti has asked his players to focus on what they can control and to forget about what happened with Rayo Vallecano, as well as personal or contractual matters.

However, the Madridismo is still very attentive to the future, especially because Florentino Pérez and José Ángel Sánchez are laying the groundwork for the coming years.

In recent days, the Madrid club has confirmed the renewal of Vinicius Jr., Rodrygo Goes, and Eduardo Camavinga, although now it’s the turn of Uruguayan Fede Valverde.

The Uruguayan midfielder, who is indispensable for Carlo Ancelotti’s system, will sign until 2028, improving his position in the salary scale, as well as the buyout clause.

This Thursday, around 12:30-13:00 hours, the extension of Fede Valverde’s contract will be made official, with Florentino Pérez securing him with a €1,000 million buyout clause, similar to those of the two Brazilians and the Frenchman, with which the merengues seek to keep the infinite money of PSG, the Premier League, or the Roshn Saudi League at bay.

The renewal agreement came a few months ago, although it is now when the white club has wanted to make it official, just before a new international break.

The next one after the Uruguayan will be Eder Militao, who is currently a long-term absentee, but Real Madrid has great confidence that the Brazilian center-back will be the leader of the defense for many years, especially since Nacho Fernández’s contract ends in 2024, while Antonio Rüdiger and David Alaba are already over 30 years old.
