Florentino canceled a loan of 30 million to be able to sign Take Kubo

Real Madrid is aware that they need another attacker to complement their offensive resources. In the summer, they were waiting for Kylian Mbappé, but the signing did not materialize. In that context, they received an offer for Dusan Vlahovic, but the conditions of the operation did not convince them.

Juventus offered them the loan of the player, but Real Madrid had to make a payment of 10 million euros, in addition to taking on the player’s salary, which together amounted to 17 million. Therefore, in the end, the operation reached almost 27 million euros, which is only 3 million less than what it would cost the club to pay for the transfer of Take Kubo.

The Japanese right winger is one of the players that Real Madrid has been most interested in over the past two seasons. The fact that they still own 50% of the player’s rights makes him a very interesting target. Furthermore, considering the level he has been demonstrating, paying 30 million for him would even be considered cheap.

Transfers

The Madrid entity has not yet decided whether they will make any signings in the winter transfer window. It will all depend on the performance of the squad in the months leading up to the window. In the meantime, Carlo Ancelotti’s team has won 9 out of the 10 matches they have played this season, and despite leaving some doubts, they are showing solidity.

The offer from the Juventus forward is still on the table, but Real Madrid does not want to pay such a high price for a loan. Logically, if there were an evident need for goals, such as a lack of goalscoring or an injury to Joselu, they would make an effort and sign him.

However, the main idea at the moment is to continue with this squad until next summer, where several signings are expected. Take Kubo could be among them, especially if he continues to have such an influence on his team’s game.
