Toulouse will recruit Frank Magri to strengthen their attack

Toulouse FC recently announced the acquisition of talented striker Frank Magri from Corsican club Bastia. This transfer has been confirmed by both teams and amounts to around 2 million euros, including bonuses, according to L’Equipe. Magri, 23, has signed a three-year contract and will join his new team tomorrow.

Originally from Agen, a city near Toulouse, Frank Magri, who was previously linked to Sporting de Bastia until 2024, is preparing to make his Europa League debut after playing with the SCO reserve in National 2 he only two years ago. This rapid development in his career testifies to the talent and promising potential of this young player.

FC Toulouse, which was looking to strengthen its attack, sees Magri as a valuable reinforcement to make up for the departure of Rhys Healey. This transfer marks the team’s fourth signing for this summer, after César Gelabert, Ibrahim Cissoko and Cristian Casseres Junior, thus demonstrating the club’s desire to rebuild and come back stronger next season.

Magri had aroused the interest of several clubs, in particular Metz who had even offered a higher amount of 3 million euros, plus the inclusion of a player in the transaction. However, the player ultimately chose Toulouse as his preferred destination, leaving other suitors for his signature on the sidelines.

Although English clubs, such as Coventry and Swansea, have expressed interest in Magri, his true aspirations to play in England will have to wait a while longer.

This transfer is an important step in the career of Frank Magri, who will have the opportunity to flourish in a higher level club and improve his performance in European competition. For the TFC, this acquisition strengthens its chances of success during the next Ligue 1 season.
